Mac & Adobe fails to do their jobs

I've been an adobe user for over 10 years now, and since its conception I've watched the programs grow in imagination and creative ability.  recently I join the millions of macintosh users who switched to the newest current platform Mac OS X 10.5.2 with all the promised glory of time machine and dashboard. Aesthetically pleasing as it is, it seems that one thing is left out in this utopian system. proper functionality with the adobe software. CS3, Adobe's newest release, brings to the table a flacid performance before it even opens a program. during installation of the software I was alerted that the payload being installed already exists on the computer. Naturally, uninstalling the repeated files on site is in order but even after removing all traces of any adobe connected files from the tower yields no results. then, to top off the insult to my injury, when I try to open the installer for the third  time I'm alerted that the installer now encountered an error and cannot even open to the setup page. I only bought my new tower to increase my productivity. I dont game or waste tons of time surfing the net. I work in illustrator mainly and having a new G5 dual core tower is a waste of money without my programs to use that make me money. I have to use my old tower with the installed items already in place firewired through the network in order to open anything adobe. I'm this close to walking away from my life just to get some control over this issue. its slowing me down and making me lose confidence in adobe  macintosh products plus, I tell everyone I know that the problem I'm having gets me no pity from apple or adobe. infact, I was just on the phone with adobe's customer service line and when I told them I had a mac they said they had to "transfer" me to another macintosh service line. they promptly put me on hold and then hung up on me. THEY HUNG UP ON ME. this is what I get for being a positive supporter of their products? left in the dust like some high school loser ditched by the very people he revered? I fail to see the justice in that. I think I'm gonna stop using computers all together and just go live in a cave.

I do alot of illustrator work. some for facebook some just because I like illustrator. here's some of the things I've been building and stuffing into folders for no reason.
